The Process of- NEET UG Counselling
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in India. A total of 15% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, and 7.5% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
The counselling is conducted online, and the candidates must register themselves on the official website of MCC. The counselling comprises three rounds of seat allotment, and the candidates must participate in all the rounds if they wish to get a seat in their desired college. The counselling fee for NEET UG is INR 5,000 for SC/ST candidates and INR 10,000 for general category candidates. The mode of payment is through credit card, debit card, or e-challan.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling Process
NEET UG counselling begins with basic registration and choice filling /choice locking with the concerned counselling authorities which is followed by seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institute.
Registration
Based on eligibility of NEET score and Domicile, participants can register with MCC and State counselling authorities.
Choice filling
Based on the marks and preferences the candidate can choose as many colleges as he can and lock down their choses
Seat allotment
Counselling authorities will allot the seat based on Merit and Preferences
Reporting
Report to the allotted medical institute along with the required documents and DD and complete the joining formalities.
