The Process of NEET UG Counselling
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in India. A total of 15% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, and 7.5% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to the Other Backwards Classes (OBC) categories. The counselling is conducted online, and the candidates must register themselves on the official website of MCC. The counselling comprises three rounds of seat allotment, and the candidates must participate in all the rounds if they wish to get a seat in their desired college. The counselling fee for NEET UG is INR 5,000 for SC/ST candidates and INR 10,000 for general category candidates. The mode of payment is through credit card, debit card, or e-challan.
