NEET are two of the main exams of the science stream in which JEE is for engineering courses and NEET is for medical. Both of the exams are tough enough and need your full dedication and attention to not get much tired even after studying for long hours. Some of the tips you need to follow for not getting fatigued during studying are –
- Study in a bright room –Studying in a room filled with natural sunlight is much more beneficial than working or studying at night time or in front of a tube light or front of a lamp. When we study in sunlight it gives us vitamin D whereas if we study constantly in dim light or tube light not only effects our eyes but also makes us more tired than usual.
- Try eating healthy food – When your exams are approaching try eating homemade food, a balanced diet, more green vegetables, and different fruits. This will make our health, body, and mind fresh as it prevents us from falling ill.
- Intake of caffeine should be less – We must intake a very less amount of caffeine, avoiding any kind of caffeine is better in every aspect. It could show a long-term effect on our health, such as it can cause anxiety, insomnia, lack of concentration, etc. Nowadays, not only coffee or tea but some health drinks also include a heavy dose of caffeine. So avoid them as much as possible.
- Always try moving your body/ go for a walk – Always try taking short breaks and moving your body a bit or if you can’t focus like that then you must go for a walk in the morning or evening time and do some basic yoga and exercises to avoid tiredness and laziness for all day.
- Study with friends – Sometimes studying with friends increases our enthusiasm and curiosity to know different things. People with the same goals give motivation and competition to each to work hard on themselves.
- Stay hydrated – Drink as much water as you can and try to be hydrated all the time. Do not try to exchange coffee instead of intake water. Water prevents dehydration, headaches, mental exhaustion, and many other problems. While coffee only increases the amount of caffeine in your body and makes you suffer through different long-term diseases.
- Practice by reading and writing repeatedly – If you cannot memorize things properly you can read them aloud and also write them to practice them as much as you can. As “practice makes a person perfect” you must practice hearing everything by reading them aloud or by writing.
- Do not sit very comfortably during studying – While studying avoids sitting very comfortably or in bedrooms. Do not wear much comfortable clothes while studying as if you wear comfortable clothes instead of wearing some professional clothing you may fall asleep or feel lazy while studying.
- Sleep for at least 8 hours every day – Do not avoid sleeping for at least 8 hours a day. You must complete our sleep cycle to feel energized and concentrated while studying.
- Music can also help – Sometimes when you feel blocked up or feel tired take a break of 10 to 20 minutes and listen to your favourite music. It may energize you and make you feel more refreshed.
These are some of the suggestions I researched and found useful. You can follow these tips to make your learning more effective. All the best for your JEE/NEET exams. I hope they help you a lot through exam time.
